WOODHOUSE WELCOMES SPANISH STAR

The first concert of the summer will feature Spanish international pianist and composer, Juan Gallego-Coin who will be performing the programme Sounds from Andalucia on Saturday July 5, at 6pm. The concert explores the music of Granados and also includes the Sounds of the Alhambra composed by the pianist himself and enhanced by readings of works by Garcia Lorca. Juan Gallego-Coin comes from Granada, but has a 20-year track record of recitals in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the Middle East plus a string of awards to his name – a guarantee that the knowledge of the subject and sentiment of the performance will be matched by the skill in the delivery.
